Signature Project

Through a Memorandum of Agreement signed on December 15, 2025, RC Koronadal, in partnership with Dr. Arturo P. Pingoy Medical Center (DAPPMC) and the Philippine Association of Thoracic, Cardiac and Vascular Surgeons, Inc. (PATACSI), launched a one-year Arteriovenous Fistula (AVF) Creation Program. The medical mission aims to support patients undergoing hemodialysis by providing access to AVF procedures — a critical intervention that significantly improves long-term dialysis outcomes and quality of life. The surgical procedures are led by cardiovascular surgeons Dr. Edwin Valencia and Dr. Darwin Corpuz, with the assistance of anesthesiologist Donna May Ligo. As of this writing, the program has successfully completed its third wave of AVF creation, benefiting 42 hemodialysis and indigent patients across South Cotabato.
