Rotary Club of San Juanico-Tacloban

Project AWAS (Access to Water for All Schools) is a signature initiative of the Rotary Club of San Juanico-Tacloban, in partnership with Aqualine Construction Corp., aimed at improving access to safe and reliable water in schools through the rehabilitation of existing water systems. The project serves students, teachers, and school personnel by restoring essential water facilities, repairing water lines, and providing functional motor pumps to support daily school operations, proper hygiene, sanitation, and overall well-being. Through the rehabilitation of two water systems at Guadalupe Heights Integrated School, including the installation of two motor pumps and the repair of damaged water lines, Project AWAS helps address water accessibility challenges and promotes a healthier, safer, and more conducive learning environment. This initiative reflects the Rotary Club’s commitment to sustainable community development and its belief that access to water is essential to education, health, and a brighter future for every learner.
